Félicitations à tous !
To kick off the new France Alumni USA website, “Yes, I Studied Abroad in France” contest is intended to celebrate life-changing experiences, and inspire American students interested in studying in France. This contest is developed by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the US, alongside Campus France USA.
We invite participants of all ages who have studied in France, whether you completed your degree at a French university, spent a year abroad, or took a short language course, to share their unique story in one of two ways: through a one-minute video or a written submission of 300 words.
We want to know what you experienced, what lessons you learned, what you loved or hated, who you met, and how this experience shaped your goals, both personal and professional.
Send us your submissions at email@example.com. The deadline to send us your entries is August 7th, 2016. Your submissions will then be shared on the Campus France USA Facebook page. There will be 2 winners: one chosen based on the number of Facebook likes it receives, and the other selected by a committee at the Embassy.
The submission (video or text) selected by the public on Facebook will win a roundtrip ticket to France as well as lessons in a wonderful school in the south of France, Accent Français. The one chosen by the Embassy will win a Bon Appétit Box, a gift card from Albertine (the bookshop of the Cultural Services of French Embassy), and classes at an Alliance Française in the US.
The best videos and text will also be showcased on the France Alumni USA website. This new platform launched by Campus France USA gives students who studied in France a unique opportunity to stay connected and make the most of their experience even after their study-abroad programs have ended.
